GOD TELLS US WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE BY RECORDING IT IN HIS WORD – REVELATION 1:1
This will be a surprise to all: some will be ready, some will not
– Matthew 25:1-13
Behold, I show you a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we
shall be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trump, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put
on incorruption, and this mortal immortality. So when this corruptible
shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on
immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written,
death is swallowed up in victory. O death where is thy sting? O grave
where is thy victory? For the sting of death is sin, and the strength
of sin is the law. But thanks be to God which giveth us victory through
our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast,
unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch ye know
your labor in not in vain in the Lord. — 1 Corinthians

GOD ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES – 2 PETER 3:9
The future will be a time of great tribulation turmoil on the earth
that will be worse than anything that has been seen before. The saved
and the unsaved will both be held accountable according to the
righteous judgment of God, and the Christians (those who placed their
faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross) will be given
heavenly rewards far beyond anything we can comprehend while were on
earth. It will be a time of judgment for the unsaved and a time of
rejoicing and victory for the Christian. This period will also be a
time of great salvation. This shows God’s grace and mercy,
but it also shows how God is a Just God. The time when this is going to
happen is very close. If you are saved this is nothing to fear because
you will be raptured away to be with Christ (to live with Him forever)
before this happens. Raptured Christians will not be on earth to watch
this happen.
