All Christians will be raptured away so the two prophets will be sent
from God.
These witnesses could be Elijah and
Moses. They both were some of the only prophets that had power over
water. These two were the only two people with Jesus during His
transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-13). Elijah never died. He was taken to
heaven in a flaming chariot (1 Kings 19:19-21). God took Moses on a
mountain, and let him see the promise land. God buried Moses after he
died (Deuteronomy 34:1-12), but in Jude 9 Moses’ body was
resurrected, when Satan wanted it to prevent him from finishing his
purpose.
